Filing season all on one book.

For CA firms that run on Excel sheets and WhatsApp groups: every return, notice, audit and appeal is a case in the book, entered once, with its owner, due date and documents.

What’s overdue, what’s due this week, and who has it.

Overdue cases and everything due in the next seven days, most urgent first, each with its owner.

Every case with its type, year, status, owner and due date.

The firm’s Excel sheet comes in as it is: ITR, ITAT, CIT(A), GST, TDS, ROC and audit work, each with its year, and statuses in the firm’s own words, such as “Order received”.

Every due date on one calendar.

The month by due date, for one member or the whole firm, so the last week is planned before it arrives.

Files stay with the case.

Client documents and firm records, filed where the team can find them, with access set per person. Nothing is lost in a WhatsApp group.

Status changes wait for the partner’s sign-off.

A status change that needs approval sits in one queue until the partner approves or rejects it.

See where work is stuck.

Cases by status, owner and type, so you see who needs help while there is still time.

The 1961 Act. AY 2026–27 is income of FY 2025–26, which ends before the Income-tax Act 2025 comes into force on 1 April 2026. The 2025 Act applies from tax year 2026–27.

The firm’s casebook stays the firm’s.

Where is our data kept?

In Amazon’s Mumbai data centre, encrypted and backed up every day; each backup is kept for 30 days.

Can your team read our clients’ files?

Not without the partner’s written permission, and never without a record. Portal passwords sit in a locked vault; the partner can see who opened one, and when.

What if a laptop is lost or someone leaves?

Nothing is installed on the laptop; the casebook runs in the browser. Remove the person in Settings and they cannot open it again, on any device. The activity log keeps what they did.

Do you use our files to train askAAsha?

No. Your files never train any AI, ours or anyone else’s. Questions are deleted within 30 days.

What happens to our data if we leave?

Download your whole casebook and every file, any time. We delete our copy within 30 days, backups included.

Who do we call if something goes wrong?

The same WhatsApp number as everyone else. If anything ever goes wrong with your data, you hear it from us within 48 hours.
